This blog was created with the intent to identify the different Principles found in the inspired document "The Family: A Proclamation to the World" and to fulfill a semester-long project requirement for school. :)
While we were given many option as to how we could approach this project, having a family of my own, I felt like creating FHE lesson plans would be a very effective, enjoyable way to make use of this information in my own home. When my kids were younger I had FHE packets galore that we'd use each week. Now that my kids are older and range is ages from 8-16, I have found that those packets are not sufficient for their growing needs, especially the older kids. They face so much more at these ages/stages of life.
While I have focused the bulk of these lesson plans more toward my kids' ages/needs, I have also included some alterations for younger families as well in most lessons. I think these could be effective for all age groups. I am excited to try these lessons out in my own home. I figure if anyone else is able to use it for their family as well, that's just an added bonus! Enjoy! :)
